Catalyst case is a company that specializes in Apple’s product protective cases. They offer a variety of protective cases for iPhones, AirPod, AirTag, etc… including impact-resistant cases and waterproof cases.
Catalyst Case previously focused on climbers, divers, and extreme sports enthusiasts. Their products are mostly waterproof and impact-resistant, designed to withstand rugged outdoor activities. Additionally, they offer various accessories such as lanyards and carabiners, which help customers use their products in different situations.
Implement a new brand guideline for the package and website, focusing on lifestyle and daily scenes rather than extreme sports enthusiasts. The objective is to position the brand as a relatable lifestyle brand, appealing to a broader audience. The brand guideline will emphasize authenticity, realism, and storytelling, showcasing the brand’s products in everyday situations. Versatility will be key, allowing the brand to adapt visuals to various lifestyle contexts. Consistency and coherence will be maintained in the brand’s visual identity, while prioritizing a seamless user experience on the website and creating an enjoyable unboxing experience with the packaging.
This project will focus on revamp the Listing for Amazon and Packaging.
Market research for Amazon
Our agency conducted a survey to engage with potential customers and analyze our competitors. Through this survey, we discovered that incorporating higher contrast colors and eye-catching effects tends to attract more people to purchase our product.
Review our listing image
In our hero image, we have different opinions regarding the use of rendering versus real images. After careful consideration, we believe that customers are more interested in seeing real images as it allows them to better gauge the quality of the product. Additionally, we noticed that some feature images do not effectively explain the product’s features. To address this, we have created two types of listings and conducted A/B testing to evaluate their performance.
When it comes to creating effective Amazon listing images, there is often a dilemma regarding whether to use real product images or renderings for better results. Recent findings have indicated that high-contrast renderings tend to be more attractive. This raises the question of which option to choose. Real images offer the advantage of showcasing the actual product, giving customers a clear idea of what they will receive. On the other hand, renderings allow for more control over the visual presentation, enabling the use of high contrast to create visually appealing images that grab attention. High-contrast renderings have been found to be eye-catching and can effectively highlight the key features and details of a product. Ultimately, the decision between real images and renderings depends on the specific product, its unique characteristics, and the desired impact on potential customers. Conducting A/B testing and gathering feedback from target customers can help determine the most effective approach for creating Amazon listing images that drive better results.
After conducting market research, we have identified the key features that are in demand and necessary for effective marketing. As a result, we are re-prioritizing our existing product listings and incorporating the requested features to meet market requirements.
In our previous listings, we emphasized the scene rather than showcasing the product itself. However, based on our research, we have discovered that customers prefer to see the actual product. Therefore, in our new images, we have made the product the focal point, ensuring it is prominently displayed and as large as possible. This change aims to meet the customers’ expectations and provide them with a clear view of the product.
